Robert Pattinson’s cameo in The Penguin
After the events of Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, makes a play to take over Gotham’s underworld. Aside from the bat signal in the season finale, we never got one. In this short video, IMDb tries to answer: Where was Batman?. Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of The Penguin Smoking Tobacco in Batman (2022), but failed.

I thought Colin Farrell was a great Penguin in Batman, but I never understood how you could take a slim, good-looking actor and put massive prosthetics and a thick suit on him… actors. which would have been just as good. I also didn’t really understand why this spinoff was made, and to be honest, I’m just sick of the Batman reboot.
But I didn’t expect to like it nearly as much
But after episode 1, I can confirm that this show is amazing (so far). I only watched it knowing that it was a bridge between the first and second movies, and to my surprise, I enjoyed Farrell’s performance in the first. The acting is incredible, the writing is great, and it surprised me with its quick twists and turns. The biggest thing I liked was that it had a lot more color than Batman.
I hope it continues to be as good as it is, because I really can’t wait for the next installment
I noticed this almost immediately because it was a huge complaint about the movie (it felt like I was watching it through a Zack Snyder lens).
